My name is David M Davila Jr. I was born and raised in the neighborhood of Humboldt Park. I attended Moos Elementary all the way through eighth grade. During my time at Moos, I was playing baseball at the park with my uncle. After graduating from Moos, I went on to Lane Tech where I got my high school diploma and joined a sport that would shape my entire life. While at Lane, I joined the Wrestling team. I competed for four years. I made varsity three of those four years and competed year round. Wrestling Freestyle and Greco Roman during the summers helped me hone my skills and become a national qualifier all through high school. I fell in love with that sport and that’s what led me to go to The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. I wrestled in Wisconsin for five years. My life took many turns during my time in Wisconsin until it led me back to Humboldt Park. A year after graduating with my Bachelors of Science in Mathematics and Spanish, I landed a job right down the street from home. Since then, I have been helping Joe Wilson and the Humboldt Park community with all the insurance needs. I enjoy working with our customers and helping them understand what State Farm can do for them.
